This rod is porbably built by G. W. Boyd of
Harrisburg PA. and is 6 - strip butt and mid and 4 - strip
tips. Calcutta cane with inlaid strips of dark
hardwood - fully mortised. Meticulas attention to detail
and very ornate knurling. |

female ferules carry both Leonard patent stamps. An
early Catskill model indicated by the fancy signature wrap
pattern, lightweight mortised reel seat and cork
