8’6” Phillipson Pacemaker Bamboo Fly Rod, 3/2, 5/6 wt.
Offering an excellent, original condition Phillipson Pacemaker in the desirable 8'6” 3/2 format.  An excellent taper with 17/11 ferrules, the rod is marked for a HDH line, and will nicely handle both 5 and 6 wt. lines.  Built in the late 1940s with beautiful brown-toned cane wrapped in pea green tipped gold.  Full wells grip extending into a bright aluminum down screw-locking real seat.  All sections are full length and straight. All guides and ferrules are tight, and the ferrule fit is excellent.  As expected with an original finish, there are a couple of minor varnish chips.  The rod weighs 5.25 oz.  Included is the original bag and tube with silver/blue label mostly intact.  This is a very fine example of a rod known for its ability to work a wide range of fishing situations.  You will be very pleased with this rod.  Priced at $385.
