7' 2/2 Scott 213F 3 wt. by Mario Wojnicki
Manufacturer: Mario Wojnicki®
2650.00
Product Available
Offering a 7’ 3 wt. Mario Wojnicki rod model 213F made for Scott. I purchased this rod from the original owner roughly nine years ago. The original owner informed me that he never took up fly fishing, so it was unused. Unfortunately, I have not used it either, so the rod has never seen water. With one minor exception, the rod is in Exc-NM condition. A snake guide foot on one tip was knocked loose from the wrap (please see photo). I believe this happened in shipping the rod to me, as it is how I received it, and there is a small dent in the tube in the spot where the guide is located. This is a rather straightforward repair. I'd rather leave it to the next owner to decide who does the repair, but I can have it done for an additional cost if desired. The rod can certainly be fished with two sections while the wrap is being repaired on the one tip. The rod is a beautiful blonde with translucent honey tipped black silks. Other than the snake guide mentioned above, all guides and ferrules are secure. Bluing on the reel seat hardware shows some natural color loss. All else is just as it left Mario's shop. Even the cork still has the same velvety feel as it did when made. Written on one flat is "Scott 213F · 3 · 1043 · 93," and on another flat is "M. Wojnicki · Maker." The rod weighs 3.0 ounces. It is supplied with its original black bag and original Scott tube (there is a very minor dent in the tube; the black bag is shedding fuzz, so an additional custom-made bag will be supplied). Truly a bargain at $2650. Please review the photos for further details. To purchase this rod, please contact us at leonarddatabase@antiquerodandreels.com with your preferred payment method.
