This (Heddon built) E K Tryon's Jay Jarvey Washington Bamboo Fly Rod 9' 3/2 1 1/2 Ferrule is an extremely rare example of (Sale Pending)
Heddon'.s finest.
Built with Heddons 1 1/2 Ferrule this 9' rod is a true 3 wt and the lightest 9' Heddon I have ever encountered. It comes with on dry fly tip and one wet tip. The Jay Harvey Washington model is equivalent in grade to Heddons #50 Deluxe President built from 1935 -1936. 
The rod is in condition as noted with a repair to the forward area of grip at winding check as shown in the photos.  Ferrules have been reset the rest of the rod has been kept in its original state.  Original tube and replacement Heddon bag marked for an early #1000.
