This is a wonderful casting little rod built by Heddon for The E K Tryon Co (Jay Harvey Jefferson).  The Jefferson models were built equivalent to Heddon's #35 grade rods and this rod has a lovely Circassian Walnut down locking reel seat.  It is an un cataloged length , (7 1/2' - 1 1/2F) for Jay Harvey and quite rare.  Both bag and tube are original to the rod and in very nice condition.  
The issues with this rod is that it has been refinished due to a break in the butt section that has left it about an 1 1/4" short.  The mid and one tip are original and full length but the tip that shows slightly shorter is a non original replacement and would not be a good fit for this rod but has been included because it does have the needed ferrule for a second tip.  The ferrule fit is not what I would call very good but I would fish it with wax. The female ferrule does need to be reset in order to fish. So this rod is being sold as parts that could be fished with some TLC.  If you want the rod for parts and it would help you with a project.  Just let me know, we can work it out.
