Remarks: A very rare rod. Note the transition from the long slide ferules on the 1 year earlier #50 shown above to these very fine shorter slide gun metal finished ferrules. In 1932 this rod would have the Pyralin Ferule reinforcements. The same ferrules, with the Pyralin reinforcements, are found on the #65 (also shown above). This rod sports a Circassian Walnut slide band reel seat, as opposed to the Gumwood seat shown on the rod directly above. It has been professionally restored by Michael Sinclair and is as beautiful as the day it left the factory. (Material.. Split Bamboo)
