Remarks: I believe this rod to be from 1930 due to its wrap colors being Gold with black trim, as well as 1930 being the 1st year an 8' version appears in the catalogs. By 1931 the catalogs advertise Circassian Walnut reel seats and the grip shape changes. The fact that this is a rod is ordered with a Slide Band and Gum Wood spacer reel seat as well as the fact that it is an 8' rod make this a very rare rod indeed. (Material.. Split Bamboo)
