Remarks: This rod was built from a blank supplied by Sila-flex and finished our by Stoddard Rods of Salt Lake City, Utah. in May of 1950. This would make this rod one of the very first blanks offered by Sila-flex fishing rods, (Pacific Laminates Costa Mesa Calif.)
